In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, two individuals, Idris and Iqbal, were shot in the leg and apprehended by the CBganj police following an encounter. The suspects are accused of inciting violence and firing at police officers after Friday prayers. They are currently hospitalized for treatment. Authorities recovered weapons from the men, including a government-issued anti-riot gun allegedly stolen during the September 26 riots in the Islamia Inter College area. Idris, 50, from Shahjahanpur, has approximately 20 prior cases, while Iqbal, 48, also from Shahjahanpur, has 17 registered cases. The recovered items include the stolen rifle, two pistols, cartridges, a motorcycle, and a mobile phone.
