While names like Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Nayanthara often dominate discussions of India’s most successful female stars, Juhi Chawla surpasses them all, comfortably leading the pack in terms of wealth. This is particularly noteworthy given that she is no longer a full-time actress. According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, Chawla boasts an estimated net worth of ₹7790 crore (approximately $880 million), positioning her as one of the wealthiest actors globally. Despite her prominent status in Bollywood during the 1990s and her shift to supporting roles in the 2000s, Chawla has remained selective with her film choices since 2010. Her recent appearances include roles in films like “Gulaab Gang,” “Chalk and Duster,” “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga,” “Sharmaji Namkeen,” and “Fridays Night Plan.” The majority of her film projects over the past decade have been direct-to-OTT releases or smaller independent films. The last film credited with significant box office revenue for Chawla was Ajay Devgn’s “Son of Sardaar” in 2012. The Hurun Rich List is an annual publication by the Hurun Research Institute. Mukesh Ambani, outside of cinema, once again topped the overall rich list, solidifying his position as India’s wealthiest individual.
