Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch a new tri-folding smartphone. Sources indicate the Korean tech giant plans to unveil the device at the upcoming Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. The tri-fold phone is expected to be an advancement over the current Galaxy foldable phones, which have a bi-fold design. The APEC summit is scheduled to take place in Gyeongju, South Korea, from October 21 to November 1. While other companies have showcased tri-fold devices, Samsung’s model would be the second of its kind available, following the Huawei Mate X. Initial production is estimated to be limited, with approximately 50,000 units planned.
