In a continued effort to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem in Kashmir, Handwara police took action, confiscating the property of a terrorist operative. This action took place in the village of Palpora, Kralgund. During the investigation of a case registered at the Kralgund police station, it was discovered that Nazir Ahmad Gani, a JKNOP member, residing in POK and actively involved in terrorist activities from there, was also actively involved in guiding and orchestrating terrorist activities in Handwara. Consequently, proceedings to confiscate Nazir’s property were initiated, and after completing the legal formalities, the land belonging to Nazir Ahmad Gani in the village of Palpora was seized in the presence of police and revenue officials. This action demonstrates the Handwara police’s commitment to firmly dealing with terrorist operatives and anti-national elements. The aim of these actions is to dismantle the structures that support terrorist organizations, deter others from illegal activities, and strengthen efforts to promote peace and order in the district.
