A tragic accident occurred in the Purnia district of Bihar early Friday morning, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and serious injuries to two others. The incident involved a Vande Bharat Express train. The victims were returning from a fair and were walking along the railway tracks when the accident happened. The injured were immediately taken to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Purnia for treatment. All those involved in the accident were residents of Chandpur Bhangaha, near the Janakinagar Nagar Panchayat. They were reportedly between the ages of 14 and 18. They were walking along the railway tracks at around 4 am after visiting the fair when they were struck by the train, which was traveling from the Jogbani direction.
