Renault and Nissan have announced plans to launch four SUVs in the Indian market, comprising two five-seater SUVs and their three-row variants. The third-generation Renault Duster and Nissan Duster variants are expected to arrive in showrooms in the first half of 2026. Both SUVs will receive hybrid powertrain options approximately 6 to 12 months after the launch of their ICE-based models.
The Renault Boreal is the 7-seater variant of the Duster, scheduled for launch in 2027. Nissan will also introduce a rebadged Boreal with a completely different design in the second half of 2027.
