The Chief Minister clarified that reports suggesting poisoning originate from an accused’s claim, not official police conclusions. Sarma also appealed to the Assamese community to encourage the prompt return of key suspects currently in Singapore, highlighting their cooperation’s importance for a swift investigation. He noted that the cooperation of individuals involved in Zubeen Garg’s yacht travel is critical. Four individuals have been arrested, but the return of those in Singapore is seen as essential to prevent further complications.
