An Air India flight en route from Amritsar to Birmingham encountered a technical issue before landing. The incident involved the activation of the Ram Air Turbine (RAT) at 400 feet altitude, causing concern among passengers and crew. The crew subsequently landed the aircraft safely. Following the incident, the aircraft was grounded for further inspection. This event led to the cancellation of flight AI114, which was scheduled to depart from Birmingham to Delhi. Air India is arranging alternative travel options for affected passengers. The flight AI117 departed Amritsar at 12:52 PM on October 4th and landed in Birmingham at 7:07 PM.
