A disturbing discovery was made near Chenagadda village within the Bhadininagar OP area of Ramgarh, where the body of an unidentified woman was found by the roadside. Local residents alerted the police on Saturday, prompting an immediate investigation. According to officials, the body was discovered near a ‘kutti’ (fodder) shop. The circumstances surrounding the discovery suggest foul play may be involved. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from the fodder shop, which reportedly captured an altercation between the woman and a truck driver late Friday night. While the footage clearly indicates a physical confrontation, the actual act of violence leading to her death was not recorded by the cameras. The police have obtained the truck’s registration number and are actively pursuing leads. Efforts are underway to identify the woman, with her photograph being circulated across various police stations and villages. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh for post-mortem examination. The owner of the fodder shop stated that his workers first spotted the body. He confirmed providing the truck’s number to the police but could not identify the woman or ascertain her origin.
