The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Ranchi, Rakesh Ranjan, has orchestrated a significant reshuffling of police officials across the district. The directive, issued on Tuesday from the SSP’s office, affects several Station House Officers (SHOs) and Outpost In-charges, along with other police personnel. Officers newly transferred have been instructed to report to their new postings promptly. Prominent among the appointments is Satish Kumar-01, who will now lead the Pithoria Police Station. Other key changes include Siddhant taking charge of Tupudana Outpost, Ajay Das at BIT Mesra Outpost, and Tinku Rajak becoming the SHO of Chanho Police Station. Manoj Karmali is appointed as the SHO of Mandar, Naveen Sharma at Budhmu, and Govind Kumar at Lapung. Sujit Oraon will now head Bedo Police Station, Shubham Kumar will be the SHO of Thakurgaon, and Satyaprakash Upadhyay is assigned to Daladali Outpost. Sunil Kumar Gaud is the new In-charge of Khadagda TOP, Dulal Mahto at Morahabadi TOP, and Faiz Rabbani will lead Pandara Outpost. Rahul Mehta is appointed at Muri Outpost, Gautam Rajwar at Angara Police Station, and Ranjit Kumar has been named Traffic Station Officer for Pandara. The transfers also see Sanjeev Kumar posted to Bariatu Police Station, Gagan Kumar Thakur to the Prosecution Wing, Chandan Gupta to Argora Police Station, Rahul at Sukhdeonagar Police Station, Bhavesh Kumar at Chutia Police Station, Ritesh Mahto at Doranda Police Station, Abhishek Kumar 2 at Lower Bazaar Police Station, Devpratap Pradhan at Hindpidhi Police Station, and Hiralal Sah at Dhurwa Police Station. This extensive redistribution aims to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness within Ranchi’s police force.
