India has issued a strong rebuke against Pakistan, accusing Islamabad of consistently sponsoring terrorist activities and deflecting blame for its internal shortcomings onto neighboring nations. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) systematically debunked Pakistan’s claims regarding regional instability, highlighting a long-standing pattern of interference and the harboring of outlawed groups. New Delhi pointed to Pakistan’s alleged support for entities like the Afghan Taliban, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and the Haqqani Network. The MEA spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan’s frustration with Afghanistan asserting its sovereignty is a clear indicator of its problematic regional conduct. India reiterated its unwavering commitment to Afghanistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence. This diplomatic confrontation follows accusations by Pakistan’s Defence Minister, who baselessly claimed Afghanistan’s Taliban government was engaged in a proxy war on India’s behalf and alleged clandestine ‘plans’ during a recent visit of Afghan officials to India.
