The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a formidable roster of 40 star campaigners for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, signaling a high-octane campaign effort. This strategic move underscores the party’s determination to secure a significant victory in the crucial state polls.
The extensive list prominently features Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, alongside other key central and state BJP leaders. These influential figures are set to traverse the state, rallying support for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates.
The Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled in two phases, with voting on November 6 for 121 seats and on November 11 for the remaining 122 seats. The election results are slated for declaration on November 14.
Leading the charge is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, followed by BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Dharmendra Pradhan. The campaign will also see the participation of chief ministers from various states, including Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Devendra Fadnavis (Maharashtra), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), and Rekha Gupta (Delhi).
Prominent state leaders such as Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, and former Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Ashwini Kumar Choubey are also part of the campaign blitz. Other notable BJP figures include Nityanand Rai, Radha Mohan Singh, Renu Devi, Prem Kumar, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Sanjay Jaiswal, Nand Kishore Yadav, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, and Vinod Tawde.
Adding a significant celebrity quotient, popular Bhojpuri and Hindi film stars Pawan Singh, Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ have been included, enhancing the party’s outreach and mass appeal.
This announcement comes as the NDA finalizes its seat-sharing and candidate selections, while the Grand Alliance faces ongoing internal negotiations. The release of the BJP’s star campaigner list marks a significant escalation in political activities across Bihar as parties prepare for an intense electoral contest.
