A striking coincidence has emerged from the latest season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’, with a three-year-old advertisement eerily mirroring the recent viral moment of contestant Ishit Bhatt. The young participant, aged 10, exited the show due to his overconfident approach, a scenario that now feels like a ‘full deja vu’ according to the ad’s original writer. The KBC ad, conceptualized and written by Neeraj Singh, featured a character exhibiting similar traits of premature certainty.
Singh himself shared the throwback video on social media, expressing astonishment at the uncanny resemblance. He noted how the ad, which depicted a 20-year-old character, was brought to life by Ishit Bhatt, a fifth-grader from Gujarat, in a way that seemed stranger than fiction. The post quickly gained traction, with viewers marveling at the premonition and joking about time travel. Many commented on the ad’s predictive power, with some humorously suggesting it was a warning that went unheeded.
Ishit Bhatt’s appearance on the KBC 17 hot seat became a talking point after his confident demeanor. From the outset, he appeared to know the answers before they were fully presented, often preempting host Amitabh Bachchan by locking in his responses. While his quick wit and knowledge impressed initially, this overconfidence ultimately led to his downfall. After correctly answering several questions, Bhatt lost his winnings on the fifth question, valued at Rs 25,000, when he confidently answered incorrectly a question related to the Ramayana.
