Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have successfully confiscated a substantial consignment of firecrackers valued at Rs 23,182 from Muri Railway Station. Acting on a tip-off and under the vigilant leadership of Commandant Pawan Kumar, the RPF team in the Ranchi division conducted a thorough search operation. During their intense surveillance around Muri station, they discovered an unclaimed white bag on Platform Number 1 of Train Number 18626 Express. Upon inspection, the bag was found to be filled with various types of explosive pyrotechnics, estimated to be worth over 23 thousand rupees. Despite repeated announcements, no individual came forward to claim the suspicious package. Subsequently, the flying squad, led by ASI Anil Kumar from Ranchi, along with ASI R.K. Singh, Dinesh Prasad, and Hemant, meticulously documented the seizure in the presence of witnesses and secured the firecrackers at the RPF post in Muri for further investigation.
