Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Chhattisgarh’s 25th anniversary of statehood by inaugurating a suite of transformative development projects in Nava Raipur. The Prime Minister highlighted significant advancements across various sectors, including rural electrification, widespread internet access, and extensive road networks. He emphasized the strides made in improving the lives of citizens, noting the successful rollout of Ujjwala gas connections to even the most remote and underprivileged households. During his visit, PM Modi also participated in a ‘Griha Pravesh’ ceremony, officially dedicating over 3.51 lakh homes built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. These initiatives, valued at over Rs 14,260 crore, encompass crucial areas like roads, industry, healthcare, and energy, signaling a robust push for progress and prosperity in the state. The Prime Minister also honored Chhattisgarh’s rich history by unveiling statues and museums dedicated to tribal freedom fighters, underscoring a commitment to preserving the state’s cultural heritage alongside its developmental ambitions.
