In a significant counter-terrorism success, security forces have successfully dismantled two old terrorist hideouts in the forest regions of Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir. The joint operation, conducted by the 9 Rashtriya Rifles and local police, was a result of credible intelligence gathering in the Damhal Hanjipora area. These hideouts were located between Ahmadabad and Nengripora forest patches and were immediately destroyed to prevent any future utilization by militant groups. Following the discovery, the forest areas have been secured with extensive cordons, and ongoing search operations are diligently working to uncover any further caches or detect any suspicious militant movements. This operation is a critical step in disrupting terrorist logistics and movement in the sensitive south Kashmir region.
