Hyundai has officially launched the second-generation models of its popular compact SUV, the Venue, and its performance-oriented counterpart, the Venue N Line, in India. This new generation promises a significant leap in style, technology, and driving dynamics, aiming to solidify the Venue’s leading position in the competitive compact SUV market.
The updated Venue boasts a bolder exterior design. The front fascia features a prominent rectangular grille with dark chrome accents and quad-beam LED headlamps, creating an assertive presence. Distinctive C-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are complemented by a sleek, connected light bar across the top. The side profile is enhanced by new 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles, while the rear showcases a muscular design with connected taillamps and a prominent 3D Venue logo.
Inside, the cabin receives a comprehensive overhaul with a sophisticated dual-tone dark navy and dove white interior theme. The centerpiece is the striking twin 12.3-inch curved displays, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard. A new terrazzo texture adds a touch of modern elegance. Enhanced rear-seat comfort is a key highlight, with a 20mm longer wheelbase contributing to increased space. Practical features like rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining seats ensure passenger comfort on extended drives.
Safety takes a significant step forward with the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on the new Venue and Venue N Line. This advanced suite enhances driving safety and convenience. Additional safety provisions include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality.
Under the hood, the standard Venue offers three engine choices: a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. The diesel engine now presents an option for a 6-speed automatic gearbox in addition to the manual transmission. The sporty Venue N Line is exclusively equipped with the potent 1.0L turbo petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).
The new Hyundai Venue is competitively priced, with the range starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7,89,000. This aggressive pricing strategy positions the Venue as a strong contender, offering an impressive blend of design, advanced features, and cutting-edge technology.
