Hyundai has officially launched the highly anticipated second-generation Venue compact SUV and its sportier counterpart, the Venue N Line, in India. This release marks a significant upgrade, aiming to solidify the Venue’s strong position in the competitive SUV market. With a fresh design, advanced technology, and enhanced performance options, the new Venue promises to set a new benchmark for style and functionality.
The exterior boasts a bolder, more modern aesthetic. The front fascia features a striking rectangular grille with dark chrome inserts and quad-beam LED headlamps, creating a commanding presence. Signature C-shaped DRLs and a sleek connected light bar at the top contribute to its premium appeal. The side profile is enhanced by new 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, and subtle silver inserts, giving it a more dynamic look. At the rear, a muscular design is complemented by connected taillamps and a prominent 3D Venue logo, completing the SUV’s refreshed appearance.
Inside, the cabin receives a complete overhaul with a sophisticated dual-tone dark navy and dove white interior theme. The centerpiece is the impressive twin 12.3-inch curved displays, offering a modern and integrated user experience. A new terrazzo texture adds a touch of elegance to the dashboard. Practicality meets comfort with a 20mm longer wheelbase, resulting in more spacious rear seating. Rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining seats are included for enhanced passenger comfort on longer drives.
A major highlight is the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), significantly boosting safety and driver convenience. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality.
Under the hood, the new Venue offers versatility with three engine choices: a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. Notably, the diesel engine now comes with an option of a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Venue N Line is exclusively equipped with the energetic 1.0L turbo petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. Pricing for the new Hyundai Venue begins competitively at Rs 7,89,000 (ex-showroom), offering exceptional value.
