A serious train accident occurred Sunday on the railway line connecting Pezinok and Bratislava in Slovakia, resulting in numerous passenger injuries. Two passenger trains collided, with reports indicating that the crash happened shortly after one train departed from Pezinok station. The collision caused several train carriages to derail, prompting an immediate emergency response. Local media reported approximately 30 passengers sustained injuries, with several requiring hospitalization for medical treatment. At this time, no fatalities have been confirmed.
Rail operations between Pezinok and Bratislava were halted following the incident. Commuters faced significant delays and potential route disruptions.
