A tragic accident occurred in the Koderma Valley today when a school bus carrying students on an educational excursion veered off the road and fell into a ravine. More than fifteen students sustained injuries in the incident. The bus, carrying 75 students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya’s 11th grade, was en route to Rajgir for a scheduled educational trip. The accident happened near the ninth mile mark in Koderma Valley. Reports indicate the bus collided with the rear of a speeding truck while attempting to overtake it, causing it to lose control and tumble down the embankment. The driver also suffered injuries.
