Acclaimed actress Gitikka Ganju Dhar is set to grace the screen alongside superstar Ranveer Singh in the highly anticipated film ‘Dhurandhar’. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie promises a fresh take on its genre. Ganju Dhar expressed her excitement, stating, ‘Dhurandhar is poised to be a stalwart of a film! In India, this genre has probably not been cinematically presented with such precision, authenticity and panache before. I am happy to be a part of this film.’
She also lauded the efforts of the director and producers, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar, and praised Ranveer Singh’s performance, calling him ‘The Chameleon’. Ganju Dhar believes ‘Dhurandhar’ will be a game-changer, stating, ‘Every few years comes a film that changes how the story is told. ‘Dhurandhar’ is one such feature film.’ She commended Aditya Dhar’s vision for a ‘bold and authentic representation of the truth of this plot.’
Her previous work includes notable projects like Aamir Khan Productions’ ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and the Marathi film ‘Music Meri Jaan’. Audiences have also recently seen her in popular OTT series such as ‘Tanaav Season 2’ on SonyLIV and ‘Aarya Season 2’ on Disney+ Hotstar. ‘Dhurandhar’, featuring a stellar cast including Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna, is slated for a December 5, 2025 release.
