Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren paid heartfelt tribute by offering a garland to the statue of Shaheed Soberan Soren ji on his 68th martyrdom anniversary at Lukaiyatan (Nemra, Gola).

Lukaiyatan (Nemra). Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren reached Lukaiyatan (Nemra, Gola) today on the 68th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Soberan Soren ji. Here he paid heartfelt tribute by garlanding his statue located at the martyr’s site. Addressing the public gathering organized on the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that every year on this day, we all gather here to remember and pay homage to my (grandfather) Shaheed Soberan Soren ji on his martyrdom anniversary. The Chief Minister said that we all know that many brave sons have been born in different parts of Jharkhand who fought for the rights of the tribal-original inhabitants and all sections of society here, and led the protection of the dignity of the state’s water, forest, land and its residents. Our brave sons, without caring for their lives, raised their voice strongly against those who encroached upon and exploited the rights of the tribal and original inhabitants here. The Chief Minister said that many of our brave sons were murdered by people with feudal ideologies, and many brave sons were sent behind bars.
Jharkhand is the land of heroes..
Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that Jharkhand is a state watered with blood. In every corner of this state, there are memories, statues, and memorial sites of our brave martyrs. On the occasion of the death anniversary and martyrdom day of these brave sons, we remember and pay homage to them. The Chief Minister said that today is the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Soberan Soren (our grandfather). The absence of the respected Dishom Guru, the late Shri Shibu Soren ji, among us today marks the end of an era. Following the ideals of our ancestors, our brave sons, fulfilling the vision of a separate Jharkhand state, gave us all strength, recognized our rights, and departed according to the law. The Chief Minister said that the responsibility has now become even greater, and we all have to unite and fight for our rights. The Chief Minister said that everyone must move forward together and ensure their contribution to the all-round development of the state. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand has become a 25-year-old young state. Our government is working at a rapid pace in every sector. Efforts are being made with commitment to strengthen the shoulders of the youth here.
Women are becoming self-reliant by connecting with government schemes
Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that many welfare schemes are being run to strengthen the village economy. Schemes are being continuously implemented on the ground to ensure that the villages, the poor, and the farmers are happy. Positive steps are also being taken to enable people to earn a living for their families through their labor and farming. He said that the state government is taking full care of the responsibility of the 3.25 crore population of the state. Our government has worked to make the women of this state stand on their own feet. The state government is continuously engaged in strengthening the younger generation. The Chief Minister said that today our women are becoming self-reliant by connecting with government schemes. The Chief Minister said that in the coming time, our priority is to make Jharkhand one of the leading states in the country by preparing action plans in various ways.
Focus on self-employment along with jobs
Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that on November 28, 2025, the current state government will complete 1 year in office. On this occasion, the state government is providing government appointments to more than 10,000 youth here. He said that not only government jobs but also various means of self-employment are being created. The Chief Minister said that our government does not run from Ranchi headquarters but from the villages. Under the “Right to Service” program, our government is working to deliver schemes to your doorstep. Your problems are also being resolved at your village homes. The Chief Minister said that our government is working to deliver all the rights and entitlements that you should receive within the government system.
Bags of schemes are reaching homes and courtyards
The Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the government that you do not need to go anywhere to avail the benefits of the schemes. State government officials are now reaching out to you. You do not need to search for officials. There is no place for middlemen in government offices anymore. Brokers are being identified and driven away. Strict vigil is now being kept on government systems.
On this occasion, MLA Ramgarh Mrs. Mamta Devi, officials of the district administration, and a large number of villagers were present.
