BNP leaders have described her condition as ‘extremely critical,’ with reports indicating she is on a ventilator. Local and international medical specialists are reportedly involved in her treatment, as the party urges national prayers for her well-being. Zia, who has a long history in Bangladesh’s public life, has been managing several other health issues, including liver and kidney complications, diabetes, and arthritis.
