Its main objective is to identify agricultural landless families in rural areas and provide them financial grants on annual basis so that their income can be increased and their standard of living can be improved. There is not even a mere share of agricultural land. Under such families, families belonging to the small-scale system like shepherd, carpenter, blacksmith, cobbler, barber, washerman, priest, forest produce collectors and other classes fixed by the government from time to time will also be eligible, if that family does not have agricultural land. . This scheme has been started by the Chhattisgarh Government Revenue and Disaster Management Department from September 1, 2021.
