Forest, Transport and Law-Legislative Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar today reviewed in detail the arrangement for procurement of paddy on support price in the Kharif marketing year 2021-22 under Kabirdham district. He gave necessary instructions for the systematic operation of paddy procurement work till February 7, which was extended by the state government for procurement of paddy. Along with this, directed to ensure speedy lifting of the procured paddy in the district. He took this meeting through video conferencing from his residence office located at Shankar Nagar in the capital. No problem, take special care of it. Also ensure that no eligible farmer is deprived of the sale of paddy on support price. Forest Minister Shri Akbar directed to give a proposal regarding the construction of a new collection center at Surajpura to strengthen the collection system under paddy procurement in Kabirdham district. During this, he laid special emphasis on ensuring speedy lifting of the paddy procured in the committees. While reviewing the Forest Minister, Shri Akbar appreciated the smooth operation of procurement of paddy on support price in the Kharif marketing year 2021-22 in Kabirdham district. Giving information about the purchase, he said that so far 4 lakh 14 thousand 481 metric tonnes of paddy has been procured in all 103 procurement centers of the district, which is about 92 percent of the target of 4 lakh 48 thousand 949 metric tonnes. Among them, the lifting of paddy is also going on continuously. He said that there are 56 Arwa and two Usna rice mills in the district. So far, DO of one lakh 10 thousand 868 metric tonnes of paddy has been issued to the rice mills. In the issued DO, 94 thousand 373 metric tonnes of paddy were lifted by the rice millers.
