The governing body of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club has been constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. It is noteworthy that in Chhattisgarh, Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club scheme has been started for the youth of 15 to 40 years of age, under which Yuva Mitan Clubs have been formed. Conservation of environment, sports and culture is being promoted through Yuva Mitan Club. Yuva Mitan Clubs are being formed in all the Gram Panchayats and Urban Bodies of the State. The Governing Body of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club has been constituted by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Welfare Department of the State Government, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has been made the President of the Governing Body, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Umesh Patel has been made the Vice President. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Lok Sabha MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Chhaya Verma, MLA Mr. Devendra Yadav, MLA Mr. Vinay Bhagat, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain and Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu as members and sports And the secretary of the youth welfare department has been made the ex-officio member secretary.
