Hyundai has officially launched the extensively updated second-generation Hyundai Venue and its sportier counterpart, the Venue N Line, in India. This new iteration promises to elevate the compact SUV segment with a host of enhancements in design, technology, and safety. The redesigned Venue aims to further solidify its position in the competitive Indian automotive market, offering a compelling package for buyers seeking style and substance.
The exterior receives a significant makeover, featuring a bold new front grille with dark chrome inserts and advanced quad-beam LED headlamps. Striking C-shaped daytime running lights and a distinctive connected light bar enhance its premium appeal. The side profile is refreshed with new 16-inch alloy wheels and subtle chrome accents, while the rear sports connected taillamps and a prominent 3D Venue logo, lending it a more muscular stance.
Inside, the cabin boasts a completely revamped dual-tone interior in navy and dove white. The centerpiece is the expansive twin 12.3-inch curved displays, integrated into a dashboard accented with a new terrazzo texture. Rear passengers benefit from increased comfort due to a 20mm longer wheelbase, along with practical additions like rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining seats, making it ideal for longer drives.
Safety takes a leap forward with the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), including features like adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist. Complementing this are six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function.
Powertrain options include a 1.2-liter petrol, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Notably, the diesel variant now offers an automatic transmission option. The performance-oriented Venue N Line is powered exclusively by the 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The new Hyundai Venue starts at an attractive ex-showroom price of Rs 7.90 lakh, presenting a strong value proposition.
