TVS Racing star racer Aishwarya Pissay has made history by becoming the first Asian woman to participate in the FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championship (W2RC) at the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal 2025. The rally concludes on September 28, 2025, and this event serves as a crucial milestone in Aishwarya’s preparations for the Dakar Rally 2026.
Following the Portugal rally, Aishwarya will compete in the Rally of Morocco. She stated that the journey has been immensely satisfying and a source of pride. It wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and support of TVS Racing. Participating in the W2RC rally in Portugal is a significant step in my preparation. Her next target is the Morocco Rally. She is fully focused on the Dakar Rally 2026 and is working hard to realize her dreams.
TVS Racing, established in 1982 as India’s first factory rally team, has trained over 3,000 professional racers. In 2016, TVS Racing launched the world’s first all-women factory racing team, fostering new opportunities and inspiration for women in racing.
TVS Racing’s “Track to Road” philosophy translates racing experience into everyday motorcycle development, integrating racing technology and high performance into models such as the Apache series and NTORQ 125.
