India clinched their ninth Asia Cup title on September 28th, triumphing over Pakistan in a thrilling five-wicket victory. Abhishek Sharma’s outstanding performance, with 314 runs across seven innings, earned him the Player of the Tournament award. The final match saw Tilak Varma’s crucial 69 runs paving the way for the chase, and Rinku Singh’s final-over boundary sealed the win for India, marking an undefeated run throughout the tournament. As a reward for his exceptional performance, Abhishek Sharma was presented with a Haval H9 SUV.
The Haval H9, a product of Great Wall Motors (GWM), a Chinese automaker, is a globally recognized SUV model. The H9 is powered by a 2.0L turbo petrol engine delivering approximately 214 hp and 380 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It can reach a top speed of around 200 km/h and offers an estimated fuel efficiency of 9–12 km/l. The H9 is equipped with Level 2 ADAS features, including Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking, enhancing safety in both urban and highway environments. Inside, the seven-seater cabin offers a 14.6-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging, designed for comfort on long journeys. While Haval plans to launch the H9 in India with an estimated price of around Rs 40 lakh, the vehicle is currently unavailable for purchase.
