Bajaj introduced its Freedom 125 NG04 CNG bike in 2024. As a leading player in the two-wheeler market, Bajaj aimed to produce a dual-fuel motorcycle to help riders save on fuel costs and reduce operational expenses. Despite an initially positive response, sales have recently declined. To boost sales, the company has reduced the price of the base variant.
**New Pricing:**
The base variant, equipped with drum brakes, now costs Rs 5,000 less. The new price is approximately Rs 85,976, down from Rs 90,976. The mid and top-end variants retain their original prices. The mid-variant is priced at Rs 95,981 (ex-showroom), while the top variant is priced at Rs 1,10,976 (ex-showroom).
All variants are powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. The base variant, which has received the price cut, features a halogen headlamp, while the other two variants have LED headlamps.
The base variant has a 110mm drum brake at the rear and a 130mm drum brake at the front. The top ‘NG0D disc’ variant has 240mm disc brakes at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. All variants come with a CBS braking system.
The base and mid models have a small LCD without connectivity, while the top variant has a full LCD with connectivity. The base variant also lacks tank flaps and other features offered on the higher-end models.
