The Commerce Ministry has announced the third edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) will take place from February 4-9, 2027, in Delhi NCR. This marks a shift from the annual format, allowing manufacturers more time to develop and present advanced mobility solutions. The new dates follow the previous BMGE held in January. The 2027 event may expand to include multi-modal mobility and logistics, encompassing rail, road, air, water, and both urban and rural mobility. Tractors and agricultural mobility solutions will also be a focus.
The BMGE 2025 drew nearly 10 lakh visitors and over 1500 exhibitors, making it the world’s second-largest auto show. It was held at multiple venues in Delhi-NCR, including Bharat Mandapam. Brands like Honda, Audi, Renault, and Nissan have announced their participation in the upcoming show. This change in schedule aligns with broader industry trends, as international auto shows such as those in Frankfurt, Geneva, and Detroit are either scaling down, being postponed, or restructuring towards more focused brand-specific events.
