Several new cars have already been launched in 2025. Many exciting cars are scheduled to be launched in the next four months. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Vinfast, Mahindra, Volkswagen, Renault, and Nissan are preparing to launch cars around the Diwali festival. Interestingly, most of the cars being launched are SUVs.
Here’s a look at the 5 cars that are going to be launched this year:
* **Renault Kiger Facelift:** The first car to be launched is the Renault Kiger facelift on August 24. It was first launched in 2021. Now, the sub-4 meter SUV will be updated. It may include some exterior and interior updates, along with improved safety features and changes in the engine lineup. The current model’s price ranges from Rs 6.15 to 11.23 lakh ex-showroom.
* **Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7:** VinFast has already started pre-booking for the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs in India. The VinFast VF 6 will have a 59.5 kWh battery pack that will provide a range of 399 km, while the Plus trim will have a range of 381 km. The Vinfast VF 7 will have a 75.3 kWh battery, which will offer a range of 450 km in the Eco trim and approximately 431 km in the Plus variant.
* **Maruti Victoris:** The new Maruti Suzuki Victoris will be a brand new 5-seater SUV, which may launch on September 3, 2025. It will be sold through the company’s Arena showrooms. This could be Maruti’s first model with Level-2 ADAS, an autonomous driver assistance system. It will have an engine like the Grand Vitara. Hybrid and CNG options will be available. Prices are expected to start from around Rs 9 or 10 lakh.
* **Mahindra XUV 3XO EV:** The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will be launched before the festive season. This electric SUV will be similar to the ICE variant of the sub-4 meter SUV. It will replace the XUV400 in the company’s portfolio. The XUV 3XO EV will come with two battery pack options. One will be a 34.5 kWh battery with an estimated range of 359 km, and the other will be a 39.4 kWh battery that can run for about 456 km on a single charge. The estimated price will be Rs 15-20 lakh (ex-showroom).
* **2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5:** The facelift version of the Ioniq 5 will also arrive. It will have many updates inside and out. It will come to India with an 84kWh battery pack, which has a range of 515 km. The motor will be connected to a rear-axle-mounted (RWD) electric motor, with a claimed range of around 570 km (WLTP). Prices may be higher than the current model, which starts at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom).
