The festive season officially commences with Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, prompting car manufacturers in India to roll out attractive discounts to boost sales. Brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Tata, and MG Motors have launched special offers on their popular models, offering savings of up to ₹6 lakhs on select vehicles. This period is considered auspicious for purchasing cars, making it an opportune time for customers to capitalize on these offers.
MG Motors is providing discounts on various models, including the Comet EV, ZS EV, Astor, Hector, and Gloster. Customers can save approximately ₹56,000 on the Comet EV, while the ZS EV and Astor come with discounts up to ₹1.10 lakhs. Hector buyers receive a ₹1.15 lakh cash bonus, and the premium Gloster SUV sees the highest discount, reaching up to ₹6 lakhs.
Honda Cars India has initiated a festive campaign, “The Great Honda Fest,” offering discounts on models like the City, Amaze, and Elevate. The City petrol variant offers savings up to ₹1.07 lakhs, while the hybrid City e:HEV provides customers with savings of ₹96,000. The top variant of the Elevate ZX features a ₹1.22 lakh discount, and the second-generation Amaze offers a discount of ₹77,200.
Maruti Suzuki has also introduced special offers for the festive season. The Jimny Alpha variant has a discount of ₹1 lakh, while the Swift AMT and WagonR LXI offer savings of ₹1.1 lakh and ₹1.15 lakh, respectively. The MPV Invicto has a discount of ₹1.25 lakh, and the SUV Grand Vitara offers benefits up to ₹2 lakhs.
Hyundai is providing attractive deals on all its cars, including the Grand i10 Nios, Xcent, Tucson, Alcazar, Creta, Verna, and Ioniq 2024. The Grand i10 Nios and Xcent come with an exchange bonus of ₹30,000 and an additional discount of ₹25,000. Notably, the Ioniq 2024 offers a direct cash discount of ₹4 lakhs, making it an appealing option for electric vehicle buyers.
