Moto Morini has announced a price reduction of up to ₹91,000 on its Seiemmezzo models – Retro Street and Scrambler. The Moto Morini Seiemmezzo Retro Street 650 and Scrambler are now priced at ₹4.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Both bikes are similar, with the Scrambler offering wire-spoke wheels instead of the Retro Street’s alloy wheels, with some cosmetic changes.
This marks the second major price cut for Moto Morini Seiemmezzo bikes this year. The Seiemmezzo 650 Retro Street was previously priced at ₹6.99 lakh, while the 650 Scrambler was priced at ₹7.10 lakh. The manufacturer announced a significant ₹2 lakh reduction in February, bringing the prices down to ₹4.99 lakh and ₹5.20 lakh respectively (all prices ex-showroom). These price reductions make the models even more affordable.
These more affordable prices come before an upcoming increase due to the revised GST slab, which will impose a 40% tax on two-wheelers with a capacity of over 350cc. The company states that the prices of both bikes will increase by up to ₹33,000 after the new GST rates are implemented from September 22, 2025.
Additionally, Moto Morini has announced festive benefits, including loan and EMI options, and 95% coverage of the loan amount.
The Seiemmezzo 650 twins share the same engine: a 649cc parallel-twin engine producing 55 bhp and 54 Nm of peak torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. These price reductions also bring these bikes closer in price to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Benelli 650.
The Seiemmezzo 650 is sold by Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), which operates brands like Benelli, Keeway, Moto Morini, Zontes, and QJ Motor. AARI, a company of the Mahavir Group, has over 60 dealerships and more than 20,000 customers across the country.
