Google has introduced Doppl, an experimental application designed to revolutionize how users visualize and experiment with their outfits. The app, a product of Google Labs, enables users to virtually ‘try on’ clothing items and accessories by uploading images. Available on both iOS and Android, Doppl allows users to explore different styles and complete looks by adding tops, bottoms, and other elements. The app also offers a default outfit setting for users. Future developments include integrating shopping features, allowing users to explore clothing items by simply uploading pictures. Users must be over 18 to use the app. To use Doppl, users upload a full-body picture, then upload an image or screenshot of the outfit they want to try. The app then generates an animated version of the user wearing the outfit, which can be saved and shared.
