The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, while no longer the most popular car in the Indian market, has seen a resurgence in interest with the fourth-generation model. GST cuts and festive discounts have made it even more appealing. The sedan’s price has been reduced by up to ₹88,000 under GST. Additionally, it comes with festive discounts of up to ₹63,400. However, the amount of the festive discount may vary depending on the dealership and location.
The most significant benefit on the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is a reduction of ₹88,000. Interestingly, the highest benefit is available on the top-spec ZXI Plus trim, which is similar to its sibling, the Swift hatchback, which, along with any other hatchback in the Maruti Suzuki portfolio, received the maximum GST value cut on its top-spec model.
The complete price reduction of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire varies between ₹58,000 and ₹88,000 depending on the variant. The Dzire is available in both manual and AMT transmission options. The AMT variants of the Dzire come with a GST cut between ₹72,000 and ₹88,000.
The new generation of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, featuring several design and feature updates along with a completely new Z series 1.20-liter naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine, has replaced the car’s previous four-cylinder petrol motor. The car has received a 5-star rating in both Global NCAP (GNCAP) and Bharat NCAP (BNCAP).
Furthermore, the Dzire became the first Maruti Suzuki model to receive 5-star GNCAP and BNCAP safety ratings. Apart from the petrol engine, the new Dzire also comes with a factory-installed CNG kit, which works in conjunction with the petrol engine. The Dzire is sold extensively in the taxi segment. With the upgrades, its sales have also increased slightly in the private segment and it is expected that this will accelerate further with the GST rate cuts and festive benefits.
