Hero MotoCorp has expanded its scooter lineup with the launch of the new Destini 110. The company has designed the new scooter to be more stylish and impressive than the Destini 125. The VX cast drum version is priced at ₹72,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the ZX cast disc variant is available for ₹79,000. This scooter will compete with the TVS Jupiter 110 in the Indian market.
**Hero Destini 110: Affordable Price**
One of the biggest highlights of the Destini 110 is its starting price. Launched at approximately ₹72,000, it’s not only a popular scooter in its segment but also more affordable than the Honda Activa 110. This makes it a great option for those looking to buy a scooter on a budget.
**Hero Destini 110: Premium Design and Features**
Hero has introduced the Destini 110 with a new retro-design language, giving it a premium look. It features chrome accents, projector LED headlamps, and H-shaped LED tail lights, making this scooter stand out. It also offers a 785 mm long seat. Practical features like 12-inch wheels and a front glove box add to its utility. The top-end ZX variant includes a 190 mm front disc brake, a significant safety advantage.
**Hero Destini 110: Engine and Specifications**
The scooter is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 7.9 bhp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. This engine provides a smooth riding experience in city traffic. It also includes telescopic front forks and rear shock absorbers. Additionally, it features a semi-digital instrument console.
**Hero Destini 110: Impressive Mileage**
When choosing a scooter, mileage is a primary consideration. The company claims the scooter offers a mileage of 56.2 kmpl. It incorporates Hero’s i3S idle-stop system and one-way clutch technology, which helps save fuel during stop-and-go traffic. This is highly beneficial for daily commuters and those covering long distances.
**Hero Destini 110: Competition**
The Hero Destini 110 directly competes with the Honda Activa 110 and TVS Jupiter. While the Activa is known for its reliability and brand value, the Destini offers customers a lower price, a long seat, and exclusive features such as an integrated backrest.
