In response to the 2025 GST reforms implemented by the government, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has declared that it will pass on the full benefit to its customers. Consequently, prices for all Honda scooters and bikes will be reduced, effective September 22, 2025, with savings reaching up to ₹18,887.
Under the new GST reforms, two-wheelers with an engine capacity of less than 350cc now fall under the 18 percent tax slab, reduced from the previous 28 percent. This change results in significant price reductions for popular models like the Activa scooter, Shine 125, Unicorn, and CB350 bikes. However, two-wheelers exceeding 350cc will now be taxed at 40 percent, up from 31 percent.
The Activa 110 sees a price cut of up to ₹7,874, while the Activa 125 is now more affordable by up to ₹8,359. The Honda Dio 110 and 125 also experience price reductions of approximately ₹7,157 and ₹8,042, respectively.
The Honda Shine 100 and Shine 125 models have seen price reductions of approximately ₹5,672 and ₹7,443, while the newly launched Shine 100 DX is now ₹6,256 cheaper. Commuter-friendly models like the Honda Livo 110, Honda Unicorn, Honda SP125, and Honda SP160 are now more affordable, with savings of approximately ₹7,165, ₹9,948, ₹10,635, and ₹8,447, respectively.
The Honda CB125 Hornet is now ₹9,229 cheaper, while the Hornet 2.0 sees a price reduction of up to ₹13,036. The prices of the Honda NX200 have been reduced by ₹13,978. Premium bikes such as the CB350 H’ness, CB350RS, and CB350 are now more affordable, with prices reduced by approximately ₹18,598, ₹18,857, and ₹18,887, respectively.
