Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that the Hyundai Creta has become the best-selling model in the country from January to July 2025. Hyundai has sold 1,17,458 units of the Creta in the last 7 months, which is 8% more than last year. The Hyundai Creta has been a favorite among customers for many months.
Launched in 2015, the Creta has completed 10 years in the Indian market. In 2025, it has become the best-selling SUV in the country and has also been number 1 in sales among all cars in 3 out of the last 6 months. Since its launch, more than 12 lakh units have been sold, and it leads the mid-size SUV segment with more than 31% market share.
Hyundai Creta Engine Options
The Hyundai Creta comes in 3 variants and both manual and automatic gearbox options. This SUV is currently available at a price of ₹11.11 lakh to ₹20.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Creta offers 3 engine options, including a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, a 1.5-liter petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
Hyundai Creta Mileage
The mileage of the Hyundai Creta car varies depending on the variant. The petrol variant with manual transmission gives 17.4 km/liter and with automatic transmission gives 18.4 km/liter mileage, while the diesel version gives a mileage of 21.8 km/liter with manual and 19.1 km/liter with automatic transmission.
