The Hyundai Creta N Line, a popular vehicle, is now available with substantial discounts. These price reductions, up to Rs 60,000, are a result of the recent GST rate cut, effective September 22. The Creta N Line now starts at Rs 17.83 lakh after the tax adjustments. The most significant savings are seen on the N8 DCT variant, with discounts ranging from Rs 51,000 to Rs 60,000 depending on the specific variant. Hyundai has discontinued the base N8 variant with a manual gearbox for the Creta N Line, with the manual transmission now exclusively available on the N10 trim, priced at Rs 19.02 lakh. With these changes, automatic models are now more affordable than the manual version of the SUV. The discount is a result of the revised tax structure for passenger vehicles, now subject to an 18% GST, down from the previous 28%. The GST Council has also eliminated the compensation cess on passenger vehicles, leading to overall price reductions across different segments. The Creta N Line is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged GDi petrol engine, offered with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DCT automatic unit, generating nearly 157 bhp of peak power at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 253 Nm between 1,500 – 3,500 rpm.
