Hyundai is planning a major product offensive in India, with the Palisade SUV slated for launch by 2028. This new offering, potentially priced around Rs 50 lakh, aims to compete with established players like the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq. The Palisade Hybrid will feature either a 2.5-liter turbo petrol or a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine coupled with a hybrid system. This hybrid powertrain is expected to deliver approximately 334 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque, while also achieving fuel efficiency of up to 14.1 KPL. The Palisade will boast a robust exterior design, including a vertically slatted grille, distinctive headlamps, and a spacious three-row interior capable of seating up to eight passengers. High-tech features such as a dual-screen setup, a digital key, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver-assistance systems are expected to be included.
