As India celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, British supercar manufacturer Lanzante has captivated the internet with its inaugural hypercar, the 95-59, which features a logo inspired by Lord Ganesha. The image of Lord Ganesha, a revered figure in Hinduism representing wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings, has garnered widespread acclaim for the design choice. The idea behind the logo is rooted in the influence of Indian spirituality on George Harrison of the Beatles, who saw Lord Ganesha as a bringer of good fortune and a remover of obstacles.
The 95-59, Lanzante’s debut hypercar, is known for its restoration and conversion of iconic race cars. This three-seater vehicle, with the driver positioned in the center, reflects the company’s three decades of experience. Designed by automotive designer Paul Howse, the 95-59 is engineered to provide an immersive experience for the driver and passengers, while also offering luggage space and an extended cruising range, making it versatile beyond the track. Social media users have expressed their admiration for the innovative design, with comments like, “British supercar maker Lanzante just dropped their first-ever badge-design hypercar, the 95-59, complete with a Lord Ganesha-inspired crest. Sleek, powerful and spiritually symbolic.”
