The next-generation Hyundai Venue is anticipated to launch in the Indian market on October 24th. The company recently disclosed its plans to introduce a new car on this date. According to automotive industry speculation, this could very well be the next-generation Hyundai Venue.
The first generation of this sub-compact SUV was launched in 2019, with a facelift model following in 2022. In its second generation, the Hyundai Venue will continue to compete with vehicles like the Skoda Kushaq, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and other similar cars.
Design of the Next-Generation Hyundai Venue
Spy shots of the upcoming second-generation Hyundai Venue have recently surfaced online. Maintaining its familiar boxy design, the new Venue is expected to receive several cosmetic updates for a refreshed look. It will likely feature a split LED DRL and headlamp setup, but with a more squared-off design. The design seems to draw inspiration from the Hyundai Accent and Alcazar models, with a more robust appearance owing to the front grille.
Next-Generation Hyundai Venue: Connected LED Tail Lamps
Test vehicles have also been observed with front parking sensors, a feature absent in the current Venue. On the sides, new alloy wheel designs, more black cladding, and more angular ORVMs differentiate it from the existing design. However, this model still lacks flush-type door handles.
At the rear, the new Venue is likely to incorporate connected LED tail lamps, a bumper with a silver finish, and a black shark fin antenna, which is an upgrade from the current car’s body-colored antenna. Rear parking sensors, already present in the existing model, are expected to be retained.
Next-Generation Hyundai Venue: Features
Significant changes are expected within the cabin of the next-generation Venue. These could include a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera package, ventilated front seats, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, similar to other new Hyundai models. The features list may also include climate control, wireless phone charging, and a Level 1 ADAS package, comprising options like forward collision warning and lane keep assist.
Next-Generation Hyundai Venue: Engine
The new Venue may retain the same powertrain options. These will be the 1.2-liter petrol (83 PS/114 Nm), 1.0-liter turbo petrol (120 PS/172 Nm), and 1.5-liter diesel (116 PS/250 Nm) powertrain options. Transmission choices might include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and a 7-speed DCT for some variants.
