Mahindra is expanding its export operations beyond the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Nepal, with the United Kingdom now on its radar. The company is reportedly considering exporting specific variants of the BE.06 and XEV 9e to the UK. Project codes have already been assigned, hinting at active development, potentially involving modified models based on the INGLO platform. With the UK’s aggressive push towards electric vehicles, aiming for 80% of car sales to be EVs by 2035, Mahindra’s new EV range could find a strong foothold. The INGLO platform’s adaptability offers Mahindra a strategic advantage, allowing it to introduce a variety of vehicles rapidly. To succeed, Mahindra will need to meet the UK’s high customer expectations and stringent regulatory standards, and it already operates a design studio in the UK to stay attuned to market demands and government policies.
