With the festive season approaching, Mahindra is preparing to introduce a refreshed Bolero model. The company aims to revitalize the aging Bolero with updated features to maintain its market competitiveness. Spy shots reveal the new Bolero undergoing testing, hinting at design cues reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. Cosmetic changes are expected, while the mechanical setup is likely to remain the same. Anticipated updates include vertical grille slats featuring Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo and potential revisions to the rectangular headlamps. The interior will receive significant upgrades, including a new touchscreen infotainment system and updated upholstery, similar to the Thar Roxx. The existing 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine, producing 75hp and 210 Nm of torque, is expected to continue powering the vehicle, paired with the current 5-speed manual gearbox. The Bolero will retain its ladder frame chassis and may benefit from a reduced 18% GST. Although reports suggest a launch next month, Mahindra has yet to confirm an official release date. Along with the Bolero, the company is also expected to unveil the Bolero Neo and a new version of the Thar Three-Door.
