Mahindra has launched the updated Thar, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh. This popular SUV now features design enhancements, improved comfort, smart technology, and other additions for a better off-roading experience. The refreshed design includes a new front fascia, a dual-tone front bumper, and R18 alloy wheels, enhancing the vehicle’s overall look. The interior boasts an all-black theme with a new steering wheel. Customers can choose from new exterior colors, including Tango Red and Battleship Grey. Interior upgrades focus on convenience, with rear AC vents, a sliding armrest, and a dead pedal in automatic variants. Other additions include door-mounted power windows, a rear-view camera, and an internally operated fuel lid. The new Thar also features a rear wiper and washer, plus A-pillar entry-assist handles. The vehicle is equipped with a 26.03 cm HD infotainment screen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, alongside USB Type-C ports. A direction monitoring system provides real-time tire orientation information. Adventure Stats Gen II offers off-road data like racing tab, altimeter, outside temperature and pressure, trip meter, and steering direction. The available engine options include a 2.0 M stallion Petrol, producing 150Hp @ 5000 RPM and a max torque of 300 Nm (manual) / 320 Nm (automatic). Diesel options consist of a 2.2L mHawk Diesel (130 Bhp, 300 nm) and a D117 CRDE Diesel engine (116 HP, 300 Nm).
