Mahindra is preparing to update the XUV700, a significant vehicle in the D-segment SUV market. Spy shots offer a glimpse into the upcoming facelift, which will compete with models such as the MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari. The test mule, heavily camouflaged, reveals design changes including flush pop-out door handles and refreshed side body cladding. The interior is expected to feature a triple-screen dashboard layout, similar to the XEV 9e and upcoming XEV 7e. The facelift may also introduce a Harman Kardon audio system and an upgraded ADAS Level 2+ suite with self-parking capabilities. The engine options are likely to remain the same: a 2.0L turbo-petrol and a 2.2L turbo-diesel, paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Optional AWD and two- or three-row seating configurations may be available.
