Maruti Suzuki is experiencing one of its strongest performances in the past decade this festive season. Bookings have reached 2.5 lakh, and exports have grown by 50 percent. Deliveries during Navratri reached an impressive 1,65,000 vehicles in the first eight days, with expectations to reach a record 2,00,000 deliveries by Dussehra, surpassing previous records from the past ten years. The company has seen an excellent response, with current bookings at 2.5 lakh. Last year’s Navratri deliveries totalled around 1 lakh vehicles, indicating that sales have nearly doubled this year. Exports have also grown by 50 percent, with 42,000 vehicles exported. Production teams are working on Sundays and holidays to meet the high demand, with a positive outlook for October, considering the 2.5 lakh pending bookings. After a GST rate cut announcement, many buyers who had delayed purchases began booking cars, contributing to the high demand. Daily bookings have increased significantly, with an increase from around 10,000 to 18,000 per day. Smaller car sales are also witnessing substantial growth, with a 100 percent increase in sales. Metropolitan cities are seeing growth of around 35-40 percent.
