The hatchback segment saw fluctuations in July 2025, with some popular models gaining traction while others experienced year-over-year sales declines. Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, and Hyundai models featured in the top 10. Leading the pack was the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, despite a 9% decrease in sales compared to the previous year. In 2024, 16,191 units were sold, while July 2025 saw sales of 14,710 units.
