Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the all-new SUV, Victoris, with its price and launch date expected in the coming weeks. The Victoris is poised to compete directly with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the Indian market. Notably, the Maruti Victoris, equipped with ADAS, has been awarded a 5-star safety rating. Bharat NCAP conducted crash tests and awarded the Victoris a 5-star rating. Several variants of the SUV were tested by Bharat NCAP, including the ZXI+ Strong Hybrid eCVT, ZXI+(O) Strong Hybrid eCVT, and ZXI+(O) 6AT, and the rating applies to all variants.
The new Maruti Suzuki SUV is built on Suzuki’s new Global C-Platform. It incorporates a range of features and will be sold through Maruti Suzuki Arena outlets, catering to general consumers. The company has stated that the Victoris will be a flagship product for Maruti Suzuki Arena. Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen its position in the Indian passenger vehicle market and capitalize on the growing demand for utility vehicles. The SUV is equipped with ADAS and other safety features.
